Molding

Description

It is usually defined as stamping that complex of mechanical operations by which, without any chip production, flat sheets or a metal billet can be obtained with one or more transformations: the main goal is to obtain an object that has its own geometric shape, whether it is flat or solid, even hollow in some cases.
In simple terms, sheet metal is subjected to a plastic type of processing.

We use 3 hydraulic presses with a working range of up to 1600×1300 mm for stamping sheet metal, whether it is light alloy, steel or titanium.
Cold stamping is a process that allows the shaping of metal sheets inserted into a special mold, so as to provide a final product with customized characteristics.
Stamping occurs in two ways, the first using a vulcanized rubber cushion normally used on aluminum alloys which, pushed towards a mold in which it is positioned above the sheet metal, gives a shape to the material itself allowing us to create geometric shapes of any geometry; the second, normally used on materials such as steel and titanium, using a mold and counter-mold which gives the desired shape to the sheet metal.
